The Big News

Construction of $2m gift underway at Nambour

The Reed Charity Foundation's $2m gift to the community is underway at Nambour Hospital.

Later this year the dreams of many will be realised when the twenty room, three storey building opens to patients of Nambour Hospital and their families.

Equipment/Research

The Health Foundation has directed around $4 million to equipment purchases, staff training, capital projects and service support in Nambour, Caloundra and Maleny Hospitals in the past ten years. Click here to see how big a difference $4m makes.

Wish List

Our focus is on supporting our rapidly growing local health services. The Health Foundation calls on hospital staff to apply quarterly for funding support that will:

Upgrade, add to or ease the burden on core equipment used at public hospitals
Enhance patient care and client service through the training of local Qld Health staff
