Wishlist is a hospital foundation that provides fundraising support to the Sunshine Coast's public health services.

Each year Wishlist has committed $1million towards our local health services through:

  • The provision and upgrade of medical equipment at our local public hospitals
  • Training of local Health staff in best practice clinical techniques
  • The funding of capital projects such as the $1.4million Cancer Centre we opened at Nambour Hospital in 2006 and Reed Charity   House  opened beside Nambour Hospital in April 2009
  • $150,000 each year towards local research projects done in conjunction with the Sunshine Coast University.
  • $150,000 each year towards service support such as the administration for conferences and workshops, diabetes camps and camps for children living in families with a mental illness and the funding of television hire for various wards.

This district incorporates Nambour, Caloundra, Maleny and Gympie public hospitals and the numerous ancillary services that make up our local public health system.

Wishlist operational costs are met by the profits of the multi-level car park behind Nambour Hospital.

Surplus profits are injected back into the local health system by way of the above expenditure.

Money donated or raised stay here on the Sunshine Coast for the benefit of the local community.
